Emily Zwyer
Emily is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and owner of Vigorate Training & Fitness. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Bowling Green State University with a Master's Degree in Kinesiology, Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, and Minor in Nutrition. She has worked with hundreds of individuals to help improve/ fix movement pattern compensations that are the root cause of injuries. She helps people get out of pain (or stay out of pain) and improve performance through mobilizing and stretching restrictions, breathing and other neurological drills, and strengthening/ engaging inhibited or weak muscles to become more biomechanically efficient.
If you're looking to get stronger, faster, and leaner injury free, Emily is the coach for you! Emily has over ten years of coaching experience and over 25 years of the experience being an elite level athlete. Some of her own athletic accomplishments include: She received a full ride scholarship to play tennis at BGSU, she was individually ranked in the top 90 in the NCAA (tennis), she placed 2nd at the Arnold Classic XPC Powerlifting 2016, and she took 2nd place at IPF World's 2018. She always had different injuries (patellar tendinitis, plantar fasciitis, ankle sprains, elbow tendinitis, etc.) that set her back as a tennis player and powerlifter. This drove her to dedicate the last 12+ years of her life studying human movement, specifically how to optimize performance, fix injuries and prevent injuries. She is certified in IASTM, first aid and CPR.
